| General Requirements for a Minor in
Spanish |

The minor in Spanish requires
SPAN 44 or 50 and six upper-division courses
(i.e., numbered 100 or above) 101 is highly
recommended. No more than two upper-division courses can be
taken through Study Abroad in a Spanish-speaking country can
be used for minor credit.
Students planning to minor in Spanish are expected to
participate in departmental events, including Oldenborg
activities and talks given by invited speakers. To declare
the minor, students must fill out the Minor Declaration form
available from the Registrar’s office, list the courses
taken to fulfill the requirement and bring that form, along
with an unofficial transcript, to the Spanish Section
Coordinator for verification and signature. Once signed, a
copy of the form is kept by the Coordinator and the original
is filed with The Registrar. |
